SPOILER ALERT: The Cleveland Indians aren't going to win the World Series this year. But that doesn't mean the city doesn't have anything to look forward to when the season starts on April 1. According to the Cleveland Free Press, the team is going to consider asking none other than Charlie Sheen—the star of Major League as well as Major League 2 and Major League 3—to throw out the first pitch on opening day this year. So even if the Indians end up being the American League's lovable (errr...?) losers again this season, they'll still be the talk of the town for at least one day. #Winning! The Cleveland Free Press blog did not say the Indians are inviting Charlie Sheen to throw out the first pitch on Opening Day. They simply said that a local DJ is campaigning to get the Tribe to invite him. I doubt the team is going to bite.

This story is entirely false. The Cleveland Free Press blog simply repeated that a local DJ is campaigning to persuade the Tribe to invite Sheen to throw out the first pitch. The Indians haven't said they will invite him, and logic dictates that they're unlikely to do so.
