A 17-year-old Brooklyn teenager is fighting for his life in a hospital tonight, after a Craigslist meet up for Air Jordan sneakers went terribly wrong. Pix 11 reports that the teenager met an adult man in Canarise, Brooklyn, and pulled a gun on him after entering his vehicle. After taking the Air Jordan sneakers, the teen fled the scene and eventually ran into a bus, but was quickly pulled out by the robbery victim. After wrestling away from the victim, the teen began to flee the scene and was eventually chased down and ran over by the victim.

The teen's arm was severed off during the hit, but he was still able to get up and run to his home a block away, where he collapsed. "An ambulance took the boy — and his severed arm — to a nearby hospital.  The teen is in serious but stable condition. Doctors plan to try to reattach his arm," reports Pix 11. According to police, both people involved have been arrested for armed robbery, and attempted manslaughter, respectively. As we've said many times before, no sneakers are worth risking your life, and make sure to take extra precaution whenever meeting up for sneaker sales.
