The last time we saw the Nike Flyknit Chukka, it got a winterized update, and now it's undergoing yet another unexpected transformation.

Seen here is the Flyknit Chukka Golf Shoe. That's right — a golf shoe. It's got quite a bit in common with the original Lunar Flyknit Chukka from 2013, but loses its Lunarlon midsole in favor of a Free-inspired Phylon unit. Rubber spikes ensure you'll have grip on the course, while the Flyknit upper has been strengthened with a fused synthetic layer at its base.

Thus far, these Flyknit Chukka Golf Shoes have been spotted in "Black/White" and "University Blue" colorways, each of which are now available from retailers like Golfsmith for $230.

Furthermore, Sole Collector notes that Nike classics like the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 are next in line for the golf shoe makeover. Stay tuned.
