GQ recently did a story on Stephen Curry, calling him "the NBA's best player," and it's hard to argue with them on that. He currently holds the titles of reigning champion and league MVP, while his Golden State Warriors are undefeated this season. Like the true baller that he is, he paired his styled up GQ look with two new colorways of Under Armour sneakers.

Naturally, one of the pairs he wore was his signature Under Armour "Curry 2" in a new purple colorway, while the other pair he rocked was a red and green version of the ClutchFit Drive 2. With most of the story focusing on Curry's basketball achievements, the publication did bring up a point about Curry's sneaker history. They pointed out how much his life had changed since they covered him as a rookie, including how Nike chose not to match Under Armour's contract offer in 2013. Under Armour might not have the kind of roster that Nike does, but it does have "the NBA's best player" as the face of its brand.

No word on release dates for these colorways yet.
