Immediately after previewing a Bible-inspired Nike KD8, Kevin Durant followed up with a new "Aunt Pearl" iteration of his last signature sneaker, the KD7, and it's a lot different than the past versions.
Every year since release of the "Aunt Pearl" KD IV in 2012, Durant has dedicated a sneaker to his late aunt who passed away from lung cancer in order to keep her memory alive. Each sneaker features pink as either the base or accent color. This sneaker moves away from the traditional color theme with a "Matte Black" and "Infrared"-like sock line, almost reminiscent of the "Black" Nike Air Yeezy II.
If this unreleased sneaker is any indication of what the "Aunt Pearl" KD8 will look like, expect it to be highly anticipated.
