Fresh off yesterday's official announcement of the Nike Kobe X, a new colorway has surfaced that has beaten the "5 A.M. Flight" to retail.
South African retailer XTrendStore took to Instagram to post an upcoming Kobe X stating it had a received a shipment and would be releasing the sneaker today. The official colorway is fairly eye-catching and is being reported as "Merlot/Villain Orange/ Metallic Gold." On the back of the tongue, a tonal design motif has been used. According to Sole Collector, the shoe is possibly this year's China Kobe edition and is being called the "Silk Road." If you have any family or connects out in South Africa, now might be the time to reach out and call in a favor.
No official release details on the "Silk Road" Kobe Xs are available just yet, but we should find out in due time.
