The adidas Superstar is making a comeback in a major way.
As part of the 10th anniversary of the Consortium program, adidas has teamed up with several premier brands to reissue some of the Superstar collaborations that dropped back in 2005. The project re-connects adidas with some of sneakerheads' favorite labels, including Japan's Neighborhood.
The original Neighborhood x adidas Consortium Superstar was originally an all-black model that celebrated the 35th anniversary of the signature shell toe sneaker. Ten years later, the two utilize a predominantly black color scheme yet again, but this time, mix an exotic upper with off-white hits. The interior, shell toe, and heel branding add a pop of contrast against the black textured upper for a clean finish.
