Skechers has just inked a deal with legendary musician Ringo Starr. The world famous drummer of The Beatles will become the ambassador of Skechers' Relaxed Fit footwear campaign as the brand shifts to grab the attention of the music world.
Skechers said in a press release, "We can’t wait for everyone to see how Ringo’s charm and cool charisma makes him the perfect ambassador for Relaxed Fit." Starr's endorsement will begin with a humorus television spot that will be unveiled next spring.
In addition to Starr, Skechers has already worked with several sports legends as of late, including Joe Montana and Pete Rose. Skechers has been making a ton of game-changing moves recently, but did you really expect anything less from a company considered to be the "hottest major brand in the U.S."? Exactly.
