Just last week, Kobe hit up the Nike RISE campaign in China to help push basketball as a global game and expose all parts of the world to the game we know and love. In commemoration of his trip, Nike rolled out the Kobe 9 EM "China", and good news surfaces as an official release date is just around the corner.
The Kobe 9 EM "China" comes in an all red upper with perforations along the sides to offer up a lightweight, breathable option for the court. The shoes are accented with a gold Swoosh branding, paint splatter through the midsole, and Nike finished off the look with an all white outsole. Another standout point here is the specialized Black Mamba done along the tongue with a Chinese art inspired look. Nike's been busy with the Kobe 9 this summer, especially the EM version, so it's good to see these specialized colorways come to light.
Keep an eye out for the Kobe 9 Em "China" when it hits the Nike Store and other select retailers August 30.
