The king of material customs went at it again, this time on a Jordan IV. JBFCustoms made a name for himself by taking retro Jordans and replacing them with python paneling, but recently he’s been mixing it up with the innovative use of leathers and textiles. The latest work by JBF is a Jordan’s fourth signature in an unexpected combination of materials and colors.

Grey denim shares the stage with deep brown ostrich leather over the entire shoe. Tan leather acts as a lining. What’s most impressive about this latest custom is that JBF created leather hardware to replace the plastic pieces that Jordan Brand uses on their retail models. It adds an untouchable bespoke level to an already unique shoe. Or should we say “Incomparable”?
