While Nike and Under Armour are having an all out war for the endorsement services of Kevin Durant, adidas has quietly made it a rather eventful summer by launching their Boost enabled signatures for Derrick Rose and Damian Lillard. It was recently confirmed that John Wall would be the next adidas team member to get his own signature model, and the first images have just surfaced.

Simply named the adidas John Wall as of now, the shoe's give a clear nod to the Wizard's star point guard as his logo is plastered along the tongue, heel, and outsole. The shoes feature what appearsĀ to be a mesh upper which should allow for the ventilation today's players are looking for while keeping the shoe lightweight for Wall's quick cuts and speed. This sample colorway comes in a white base, with black and gold accents throughout the shoe, with the standout being the embossed gold logo on the tongue. Unfortunately, Wall's shoe doesn't appear to have Boost technology, but things could change once the final sneaker is released.

Since this is just a sample, we can't confirm whether this is the final design or if adidas has some tweaks to make, but chances are the overall look will be generally the same. Let us know your first impressions of the adidas John Wall, and if you would cop when they eventually hit shelves.
