Even though Paul Rodriguez has his own signature Nike shoe, Primitive Skate shop isn’t known for their sneakers. They’re a legit skate shop, focusing on decks, trucks, and other skating paraphernalia. They’ve had some dope collabs in the past (obviously), but focus mostly on the sport of skateboarding.

Hot on the heels of the massive amount of Stan Smiths that have hit stores this year are Primitive’s own collaborative Stan Smiths. These follow the likes of Clot, Colette, and even Raf Simmons. To keep the theme on skating, Primitive used the Stan Smith Vulc, which has been optimized for the 4-wheeled sport. An upper comprised almost exclusively of dark orange suede, hits of gold shine through the stripe perforations, the top eyelet, and branding of “PRIMITIVE” in place of the Stan Smith name. Navy lines the sneaker and dominates the heel, while orange and navy come together for the laces. The vulcanized sole is white.

The kicks are already available in some places, like French spot snkrs. Stay tuned from them to make their way to P.Rod’s home country.
