In seasons past, Sparta Prague has worn a brighter shade of yellow on the road. However, Nike has opted to tone things down a bit for the 2014-15 season.
Inspired by the brickwork of the castle on Prague's coat of arms, the jersey uses a more understated yellow that is meant to represent the city as beautiful and royal. The yellow jersey is outlined by red trim on the crew neck collar and sleeves. On the inside of the neck is the motto "My Jsme Sparta" (We are Sparta) to symbolize the unity of the players, the team and their fans.
The yellow jerseys are to be paired with red shorts with a thin yellow stripe on both sides.
