Roman numerals have been prominent on Js up until the brand decided to use the corresponding year of the drop in place of the ancient numeric system. This started in 2009, but Jordan Brand later returned to Roman numerals with the XX8 just last year. In other words, there have been 24 Jordans where people have seen some form of a Roman numeral.
