We recently got a glimpse of the possible Nike Air Tech Challenge II "French Open" when Andre Agassi shared a photo of the retro tennis shoe on his Instagram this past Friday. Up until now, the only clue that led us to believe these were inspired by the storied tennis tournament was from the outfit that Agassi wore at the 1990 French Open. He had on a polo shirt with the same color combination and striped design that was spotted on these recent Air Tech Challenge IIs.

With the tourney already underway, it looks like the nickname will stick after all. Twitter user Erik Opsahl (@edoPDX) tweeted a closer look at the lateral side of the Air Tech Challenge IIs yesterday and stated that they already released in Paris—the site of the French Open.

It's not exactly known if these will hit the States, or if they're just exclusive to Paris. If previous tennis tournament-themed Air Tech Challenge IIs serve as an indicator, there's a good chance this could be for international 'heads only.
