The Shoes That Won Last Night: OKC Ends San Antonio's Win Streak

As one streak comes to an end, another becomes even more prolific. Last night, the Oklahoma City Thunder snapped the San Antonio Spurs' 19-game win streak with a 106-94 home win. Russell Westbrook (pictured) carried the load for Thunder with 27 points, 6 assists, and 4 steals, but it was Kevin Durant who managed to etch his mark into history.  Durant had 28 points, which marked the 39th straight game he's put up 25+ points. The last time someone had a streak this impressive? 1987, when Michael Jordan did it on 40 consecutive occasions. If things keep going this way, it's safe to say MJ's record is in jeopardy.

You'll have to wait until Saturday for the NCAA men's Final Four, but last night the NIT Championship was decided as Minnesota rallied to a 65-63 win over SMU.

Elsewhere, MLB Opening Week rolled on with a total of 11 games. Washington's Ryan Zimmerman was the night's star player, going 4-5 with a homer and 2 RBIs in the Nationals' 8-2 win over the Mets.

Catch up on all the night's best stats and shoes after the break.
