Anyone who's been paying attention to the NBA this season has noticed this year's most intriguing side story: Why isn't LeBron James wearing his signature sneaker, the Nike LeBron XI?
It came out last year that LeBron, apparently, had some issues with the LeBron XI, and he took to wearing the Nike Zoom Soldier VII instead. This prompted the sneaker community to joke that the Soldier VII was really LeBron's signature sneaker this season.
We took that idea one step further: What if the Soldier VII really was LeBron's signature sneaker, and Nike had released it in the same colors as the LeBron XI? One thing is for certain: These color schemes would have seen more time on the court.
We placed actual LeBron XI color schemes on the Zoom Soldier VII, and this is result. Here's Imagining the Nike Zoom Soldier VII As the LeBron XI.
