We reported last year that the Nike Air Max 98 could make a return in 2014 and, well, it's back. Paul Ruffles, the managing director of popular UK retailers size? and Foot Patrol, recently posted a photo of the 2014 version of this classic Nike runner. The Air Max 98 looks to be equipped with OG treatment—leather and mesh uppers atop a full-length Max Air cushion. This is seriously a beautiful thing.
With Air Max Day coming up, it's nice to see the classic Air Max line get its proper shine in a category filled with new runners. The Nike Air Max 98 in the "White/Team Orange/Metallic Silver" colorway is now available in-store at London's Foot Patrol. A U.S. release date is not yet known, but we expect to get a crack at these Air Max 98s right after they trickle into international retailers.
