The adidas "Florist City" collection for the Crazy 1 basketball sneaker released this past Wednesday and a special launch event was held at Portland retailer Compound Gallery. Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and the Washington Wizards' John Wall were on-hand to showcase each of their Crazy 1s—"Rose City" and "Cherry Blosom," respectively.
Over 400 people attended the event for a chance to purchase the sneakers and have them autographed by Lillard and Wall. For Lillard, the lineup was surreal and even makes a reference to the fact that people line up to get Jordans. To see that kind of reception for the sneaker just adds to the high he's been riding since earning Rookie of the Year honors last season.
