If you didn't already notice, taking old school shoe models and adding new and improved technology to them has been a popular trend lately. Brands are adding mesh where there used to be leather and canvas, and swapping out flat soles for more flexible and cushioned ones. Vans is doing just that with their new LXVI collection. Focused on forward-thinking designs, the LXVI collection caters to more comfortable sneakers using classic model aesthetics.

The newest edition to this collection is the Data, which mirrors a silhouette of the Old Skool low. The Data features a mesh toe box, tongue, and heel for breathability. The midsole/outsole unit features the "Waffleflex" tread pattern to enhance traction.

The Data is available in five colors and can be purchased now at Vans.
