Jordan Brand released a white and dark red Air Jordan III on eBay in 2006 as an effort to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, but now the sneaker is set to release to the public in March 2014.

The "Wolf Grey" and "Sport Blue" color schemes of the Air Jordan III have already leaked onto the Internet, and the "Katrina" version is slated to hit retailers on March 8.

These Air Jordan IIIs are similar to the OG Fire Red IIIs, but put a different spin on the sneaker--and a lot less red, but not as monotone as the "Cement" IIIs. Retail will be $170.

Update: According to jmadidas2001 on Niketalk, the retro release of the "Katrina" Air Jordan III is untrue. Apparently, the photos that are currently in rotation of the possible retro are actually those of the 2006 release. As far as the March 8 release date, the new White/Cement Grey/Infrared 23/Black colorway is the pair that will actually be releasing.
