Saucony collaborations have increased in quantity, and West NYC is one of the best boutiques that's reinterpreting the brand's '80s and '90s running sneakers into fresh rendition. Everyone paid attention to the "Tequila Sunrise" collaboration that dropped in September, but West is back with something for the fall and to help you through winter with a pair of Shadow 5000s, the "Cabin Fevers."
What the Tequila Sunrises represented of the waning of summer, the Cabin Fevers are a fully-submersed trip into the woods. The sneakers have olive suede, a perforated black leather toebox, and are splattered with red hits on an otherwise black and white midsole. While you're drooling over wearing these sneakers on the streets before the snow hits, West has other plans. The shop took the sneakers on a geocaching trip to celebrate their release, which is Saturday, November 9, and be viewed in the video below.
