Though we all usually see soccer as a warm weather sport, in reality, its global popularity and the versatile nature of the game allow it to be played in virtually all seasons. Nike not only has noted this, but it has turned what is a natural disadvantage for cold weather players into its own advantage in a new apparel package.

The Nike Hi-Vis Collection is a bundle of winter apparel that’s accented with footwear and equipment to make playing soccer as comfortable as possible. Borrowing from what normally is an American football apparel staple, Nike employs the Pro Combat Hyperwarm base-layer series for warmth, water resistance, and enhanced breathability. The Nike Pro Combat Hyperwarm Dri-FIT Max Shield Mock can be worn atop the torso base layer for even more warmth and acts as another vehicle for moisture management.

Additionally, Nike has enhanced the performance of their soccer balls in order to play in harsher conditions. The Nike Incyte Hi-Vis Ball is given the RaDaR tech treatment, which highlighted by its volt coloration for great visibility and it’s micro-textured for enhanced grip.

Incorporated in the bigger set is the Hi-Vis Football Boot Collection that is headed by the popular Nike Hypervenom, with other models following and all with major accents of volt.
