For so long, use of the infamous elephant print had only been limited to the classic Air Jordan III silhouette. In shaking things in the sneaker world up, the creative minds over at Jordan Brand had decided that it was time to share the elephant print wealth and apply the insanely popular graphic to another iconic Jordan model and see what happens. What occurred after that would be one of the years most highly anticipated releases, the “3Lab5” Air Jordan V. While that release pulled an Ali move and shook up the world, on a retail level of course, it left quite a few sneakerheads wondering if there would possibly be another release. From the looks of things, there will indeed be a second serving of “3Lab5”, in the not too distant future. This time around, the AJV will come dressed in an all black elephant print upper that gets paired with vibrant infrared 23 accents. In case you were wondering, that is indeed the name of the red used for these kicks. Accompanying these kicks will also be a $225 price tag that shouldn’t be too much of a concern, especially if you went out and copped the last “3Lab5” release. Although we still don’t have a release date for these joints yet, we will just have to wait and see if JB can find a slot to get these out by the end of the year.
