Sylvia Fowles and her team, the Chicago Sky, have done it again, rallying to win the game back from the Connecticut Sun.
Fowles, with the help of her double-double sealed a victory by outscoring the Sun 62-35 in the second half. Fowles had 20 points and 21 rebounds to help rally back from a 25 point deficit to get the W. Teammate, Epiphany Prince also had a great game as she scored 21 points with 8 assists. Swin Cash also had a great night.
Both Fowles and Prince are carrying their team in Nike Basketball sneakers. Fowles’ favorite sneaker is the Nike Zoom Hyper Quickness. Prince likes more of a low-cut sneaker as she is always seen in a plethora of lows including the Nike Kobe 8 System. Thrilling performances is expected from each of these elite athletes, but hopefully they throw in a surprise sneaker choice before the season ends
For back to back games, the Sky rallied back to great wins. Thursday against Seattle, the Sky were down 16 points and were able to topple the Storm 79-66 with the help of both Fowles and Prince scoring performances. This is Fowles' second time achieving a 20-20 double-double for the second in franchise history, which is just a candle on the cake for the Sky's current winning streak. With this win, Chicago swept the four-game season series from Connecticut. If that's not enough, the Sky is closing in on the franchise's first playoff berth and clinched their first non-losing season.
Chicago’s next game will be against Washington as they look to have another great game.
