It's been a rough week for the Minnesota Lynx, but they're back in form after last night's 88-57 win over the New York Liberty. After losing three in a row, the Lynx were faced with a must-win situation in order to hold on to the top spot in the West. Maya Moore stepped up majorly for Minnesota, getting involved on both sides of the court with 28 points, five rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and a steal.
Moore shot 6-10 from the three point arc, tying her career-high for most threes made in a game. She spoke on the much needed win after the game: "It's definitely satisfying, but it's only one game. We need to stay on the climb." Cheryl Reeve, Minnesota's head coach, added her thoughts on Moore's performance, "She knew she needed to come up for us big time. She wants to play great every game and she strives for greatness, which is what makes her so good."
With her team-leading play, number 23 jersey, and sneaker selections, it's easy to draw comparisons to Maya and a certain male player with similar traits. Moore once again wore her Air Jordan Aero Mania PE, which is one of a number of models the brand created for the two-time All-Star. The Aero Mania utilizes strategic Flywire placement for support and Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot. Take over the game with the Air Jordan Aero Mania for $85.
