Looks like Nike has something for basketball players as well on August 1st. As announced at a Jordan Take Flight event in Beijing on Tuesday, the second iteration of the Super.Fly will be available next month for the price of $140.

As speculated, the shoe will combine Jordan’s Flight Plate technology with Dynamic Fit and Hyperfuse to offer the best sneaker to suit Blake Griffin’s high flying style of play. This will be the third Jordan shoe to use Flight Plate, following the Air Jordan XX8 and the Jordan Trunner Dominate Pro. Utilizing a dynamic fit and a herringbone designed outsole, this shoe is meant to handle side-to-side directional changes.

According to Griffin: “The Super.Fly 2 is by far the most responsive and most innovative shoe I have ever played in. The way it fits coupled with the responsiveness of Flight Plate really helps me perform at the highest level possible every time I am on the court.”

The Super.Fly 2 will be available in 5 initial colorways starting August 1st.
