It might as well be the year of the runner. Sure, the all-red Yeezy IIs are going to kill it when they come out, but other than that, Nike (and every other brand) has seemed to pay a close attention to reproducing early-'90s runner goodness. And we're not complaining.

Nike has brought back the Air Base II, a lightweight runner that's sans any visible air, this time in a Mortar Grey/Blue Hero colorway. It's the perfect amount of pop on the otherwise plain sneaker. However, instead of mesh, this Air Base II make-up features a ripstop material, giving it a differentiated touch in the runner world. Expect a release through Nike Sportswear in the new future.
