When it comes to soccer, adidas is known for its revolutionary classics like the Copa Mondial and Predator cleats, as well as the iconic Telstar soccer ball featured at the 1970 FIFAF World Cup. But now, it looks like The Three stripes is on a mission to evolve its futbol offerings to the boundaries of the future.

Today, adidas launched the “adidas Lab,” the first in a series of events that showcases what lies ahead for adidas Soccer and its followers. The interactive event will allow users to test out some of the latest technology designed for the pitch, including the Smart Ball preview on Sneaker Report earlier today. Also included is an air-light 99g boot, and 630g kit slated for a 2015 release.

More to come from adidas Soccer in the near future.
