To coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Nike Cortez as well as the sneaker making its way to NIKEiD, the brand has enlisted the services of a quartet of talented UK-based artists — Jiro Bevis, Shantell Martin, Matthew Nicholson and Rose Stallard — to create their own take on the timeless silhouette. The outcome is what is dubbed the Art and Sole Project, as the crafty makeups will become available exclusively at the new NIKEiD Studio at Shoreditch's Boxpark in London. [via Sneaker Freaker]
