Not every sneaker makes it to a seventh incarnation. In fact, most don't. Models are re-named, endorsers move on to other companies, signature shoes are dropped. So while the Air Jordan is at 25 (the 2011) and counting, that's more the exception than the rule. Getting to five is hard enough.
