Of all the high-end basketball shoes Nike has never retroed, the Nike Air Force 180 High may be the least-likely to ever return. (There's the Air Pressure too, but they at least faked it with the PR1.) With a 180 Air bag underfoot and a huge inflatable ankle collar — we think that other company has the rights to the "P" word — the Air Force 180 was super-high, super-technical, and — for the time — super-expensive. Well, as it turns out, they may have been a good investment regardless. This deadstock but unwearable (note the cracks in the midsole) size 9.5 pair recently sold for $1,365 on eBay, possibly because of the original booklet which shows primary endorser David Robinson...playing a keyboard? (Check the 19th shot.) To be honest, that might be worth a grand by itself.
