Last week we teamed up with the homies over at Nice Kicks to bring you The Top 25 On-Court Basketball Sneakers For The 2009-2010 Season. But now the season is over and the focus has shifted to ill playoff editions that the stars have been lacing up.
This year, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony are both rocking special make-ups on-court that have had the sneaker blogs watching. While Bron Bron got a new Jordan XI-esque colorway of his Lebron VII, Melo broke out his "Future Sole" M6's that were designed by 17-year-old Austin Jermacans. Sure the NBA statisticians will be comparing the two player's playoff numbers but around here we're interested in your feedback about their footwear. I think Lebron got this one on lockdown. The VII's resemble the Jordan 11's (which is the peoples choice). Melo has not made a shoe that I wanted buy yet.. The design is garbage. Melo is a beast on the court tho.

its because of the VIIs looking like the 11s that im going with melo. nothing against the VII but theres nothing groundbreaking about this colorway.. its a cop out.. the VII needs to own its own colorway. besides.. with the melos.. you cant go wrong with a futuresole edition..

The 'Melo F.S. M6' is way more innovative and progressive plus it was deigned by a talented kid, who bested Nike's best deisgners! Mimicking an 'AJ XI' almost to the tee is a bit weak, especially since many copped the actual 'AJ XI' over the holidays. The VII is a good look, but I already knew that as I pass on it & rock my Jams.
