How it is that you have such a solid collection: I had a shoe refurbishing business in high school, cleaning my boys' heat while I had none. So in beginning my collection, like many older heads, I was on a mission to collect the kicks that I couldn't afford or had and wrecked during first-runs in the late 80's/early 90's. I then began to collect kicks that stood out, even if they were a general release. The hunt for me isn't about spending the most loot to get some rare artist edition of a sneaker. I have those, but they're not my favorites. For me, hunting is finding those shoes with a personal story or those that strike me almost immediately. I don't do a lot of talking myself into a shoe. It's instinct and love, and rarely hype for me.
