It’s a right shame how under-the-radar and underrated The Little Death (named after a french euphemism for orgasm) is because it’s probably one of the most original movies about sex in recent times. Told through a series of vaguely interconnected vignettes, The Little Death is the story of kink, of pleasure, and, ultimately, of desire. It’s a movie about sex that could truly never be made in Hollywood: sexy without being raunchy and funny without being offensive.
