For those of you who haven’t seen Avengers: Infinity War, stop reading this right now. It’s got some *spoilers.*
Now, for those of you who have seen the latest Marvel film in the past few days since its debut, I’m so sorry. You’re probably still recovering from the emotional trauma of watching one of your favorite Marvel heroes, whether it’s Spider-Man, T’Challa, or Dr. Strange, disintegrate into a mound of dust. If only Thor had gotten his new hammer sooner! If only they successfully took the glove off Thanos! If only Dr. Strange didn’t give up the time stone!
But alas, at the end of the film Thanos collects all the infinity stones, snaps his fingers, and half of the population in the Marvel Cinematic Universe turns to dust. One meme is making light of this tragedy by applying this affect, with the help of Photoshop, to some regular degular characters outside of the MCU.
The memes feature cartoon classics and sitcom stars spontaneously disintegrating with the caption “I don’t feel so good,” which is what Peter Parker utters to Tony Stark during a heartbreaking scene at the end of the film before floating away.
