Well, here's one way to make a promotional interview at a radio show less boring: Randomly make the cast of a new movie freestyle battle each other over songs from Eminem and Drake.
Sitting down with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 this weekend, the cast of Super Troopers 2 playfully took shots at each other while "My Name Is" and "KMT" played in the background. Honestly, parts of this are pretty cringeworthy, but the main takeaway is that Steve Lemme can actually kind of rap. After casually dropping the word "hummus" into a bar, he effortlessly spit some lines from Eric B. and Rakim's classic single "Paid in Full."
So I walk up the street, whistlin' this
Feeling out of place, 'cause man do I miss
A pen and a paper, a stereo, a tape of
Me and Eric B and a nice big plate of
Fish, which is my favorite dish
But without no money, it’s still a wish
