After he was finally caught and arrested for attempting to contact actors and producers he believed would help him make a biographical film about his life, Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán will now be extradited to the United States.
The notorious drug kingpin, who was recaptured after escaping a Mexican prison this past summer, will, according to the New York Daily News, now be making his way to Brooklyn. While we have bizarre ideas of the fame-obsessed criminal making a guest appearance on Girls or something along those lines, upon arriving to New York he will be slapped with a 21-count indictment. In addition to his money laundering, El Chapo has also committed 12 murders. So no Girls.
The news that he may be making his way to the states comes from a Mexican official. After his escape in July, which marks his second successful escape, perhaps it's best that El Chapo is detained somewhere other than his home country.
It is still unclear when the whole extradition process will begin.
