For many of us, the X-Men animated series from the early-to-mid '90s is the pinnacle of comic book TV show amazingness (hey, this is before the live-action fire residing on Netflix). Every Saturday morning it was nothing but non-stop action, with an intro that was totally '90s and immediately captivating while actually highlighting the powers for each member of the squad.

And now we have an insane dancehall version of the intro.

WHY? Who knows. It's lo-fi af, with dude hitting mute on the actual audio, playing the Sprite Riddim in the background while toasting his own lyrics–inna dancehall style–about the different members' powers. The initial joke about thinking that "X-Man" would possibly be thought about "a man or gyal who used to be a man" is hilarious, but then he digs into the actual meat of the track and it's LEGEND. Once he breaks down Cyclops' "red beam out of me iris," I'm done. It's done perfectly, with a number of different dancehall flows and inflections that react perfectly to the rest of the intro. The bit where Professor X and Magneto argue about bringing more women is pretty damn insane as well.

But it gets better: enter the TUNDA CYATS:

Hopefully this guy comes up with even more throwback cartoon themes to rework. YAAAAAAAAAAA!
