Idris Elba To Produce TV Series About a Modern Day Family Hunting down African Artefacts Stolen During Colonialist Times

He's a busy guy.

Idris Elba is a busy man. Along with the acting, the music, and responding to the speculating he might play James Bond, he’s also now going to produce a TV drama for Fox. Entitled The Crusaders, from screenwriter Thomas Ikimi, it is reportedly about an African family living in modern day America, who are trying to track down valuable African objects that were stolen during colonial occupation. That could be a serious drama or a cool National Treasure-style adventure show, but either way it’s an interesting set-up.

It’s a long way off, so no word if Elba will star in the show at all.
