The BBC have announced a new TV drama based on popular videogame 'Grand Theft Auto' for BBC Two.

The drama is set to be part of a wider initiative by the BBC to get young people involved in digital technology. A spokesperson for the BBC said the video game series was picked as it was "one of the most extraordinary creative and controversial success stories of our time".

According to Engadget, the show will be a one-off 90-minute feature length drama, and be focused on the making of the game – possibly similiar to David Fincher's 'The Social Network' that dramatised the early days of Facebook.

Here's the guy behind the making of the TV drama, Guy Cocker, a video game journalist.
