One thing that sucks about using a smartphone (first world problems, I know) is how long it takes to charge.
A charging battery could make you late for a date, class, or to chill with the boys — or something even more important. Charging a smartphone battery is like trying to fill a water balloon: you can let the water flow quickly at first, but as it gets closer to the limit, you have to let it trickle so it doesn't blow up in your face. Storedot came up with a charging unit and battery pack for Samsung's Galaxy S4 that charged the phone from 27-percent to 100-percent in 30 (fucking) seconds! This could change the world. Or, at least, make it a lot less stressful. The company says they could mass produce the units in 2016.
