With this Christmas comes Unbroken, a new film penned by the Coen brothers and directed by Angelina Jolie that chronicles the incredible true story of Olympic athlete Louis Zamperini.

The long distance runner enlisted during WWII and during the war survived 47 days at sea only to end up a Japanese POW. Any one of those three life events would make for a good film, so it's surprising it's taken Hollywood this long to deliver—it's based off of a 2010 best-selling book by Laura Hillenbrand. What better place to premiere the first look at the film than the Winter Olympics, which is exactly what the folks at Universal did earlier today. Watch the three-minute clip above.
