Check out new footage from Thief, the upcoming reboot to the original first-person sneaker that was years ahead of games like Assassin's Creed and Dishonored. Although this is suppose to be a gameplay trailer its hard to imagine any of this not being a cut-scene. What we do see is a dark city, sneaky situations and huge destructible set-pieces, like mansions, falling apart.

While many considered Dishonored to be the spiritual successor of the original Thief but they differ in many ways. We're hoping Thief is able to bring back the tension of the heist, with carefully placed water arrows and a couple of smacks to the guard’s head you could take off with the family jewels.

We'll have to wait and see until Eidos Montreal drops Thief on February 25, 2014 for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and next-gen consoles.
