Chinese Hackers Have Stolen American Weapon Design Blueprints

Uh-oh.

None

Move over, James Bond: Cyber-espionage is real, and it's happening as you read this. According to the Washington Post, Chinese hackers broke into databases critical to American missile defenses and combat aircraft and ships, stealing more than "two dozen major weapons systems" for the US.

We Americans have a knack for naming our crazy weapons with equally fitting names (the two first atomic bombs were named Fat Man and Big Boy), so you might cringe a little while reading the names of the weapons that were breached:

The advanced Patriot missile system (PAC-3); a system for shooting down ballistic missiles known as the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD); and the Navy’s Aegis ballistic-missile defense system. Also, classified details regarding the F/A-18 fighter jet, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the V-22 Osprey, the Black Hawk helicopter and the Navy’s new Littoral Combat Ship.

Time to get away?
