Scarlett Johansson has already proved her action star prowess as the Black Widow in The Avengers and Iron Man 2, so it's sort of a no-brainer that Luc Besson would cast her as the "ass-kicking machine" heroine in his next film, Lucy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johansson is in final negotiations to join the cast of the Besson-penned film as "a woman forced to become a drug mule...but the drug instead goes into her system, transforming her into an ass-kicking machine." She's left with the ability to absorb knowledge instantly (a grad student's dream), telekinesis, and an inability to feel pain. No word yet on if her name is Lucy, but we assume so - though, how awesome would "ass-kicking machine" look on Johansson's IMDb page?
