The only thing that rivals the horror genre's ever-steady stream of blood and guts is its never-ending amount of material that is ripe for ridicule. No films have even come close to successfully spoofing the genre as those in the Scary Movie series. Initially spawned from the minds of the Wayans brothers, Keenan Ivory & company have passed the franchise torch to director Malcolm Lee (The Best Man, Undercover Brother) and writer David Zucker (the legendary Airplane! and Naked Gun spoof series), who also wrote and directed the third and fourth Scary Movie films.
