"Duck Dynasty" Returned to Record-Breaking Numbers Again Last Night

Just two months after Duck Dynasty's season finale premiered to record-breaking numbers for its cable network A&E, the reality series managed to pull in even more viewers for the premiere of its third season last night. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series was watched by a whopping 8.6 million viewers, which is up 132 percent compared to its second season premiere. Additionally, and even more impressively, it managed to best all broadcast shows in viewership during its timeslot with the exception of CSI on CBS.

The ratings are a record for the network, and since apparently everyone and their mothers are watching, easily rank the show as the top unscripted performer on all of television. Morrissey really won't be happy about this.
