Even if side-scrolling fantasy puzzle-platformers aren't your thing, you've got to admit Trine 2 looks gorgeous. And if they are your thing and you haven't played it yet, then the director's cut on Wii U is the perfect way to experience it for the first time.
It's got co-op gameplay, exclusive levels, souped-up visuals, and, of course, the ability to play directly from the Wii U GamePad's screen. Here's a quote from the press release sent out with the trailer:
"Nintendo has created a great new console and we are happy to be part of the North American launch with Trine 2: Director's Cut," says Frozenbyte CEO Mr. Lauri Hyvarinen. "The new trailer features a small glimpse into the game, showing off some of the new skills and locations, including the new Dwarven Caverns level that we created exclusively for Wii U."
Must be nice to be one of the first developers with a game on the eShop! Have you tried out Trine 2 yet? What do you think?
