Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union have shown nothing but love to their daughter Zaya Wade, but not everyone has been as supportive. When Zaya came out as a trans girl, there was an outpouring of love and Wade made it clear he was proud of her. But some, including Boosie Badazz and Young Thug, have felt the need to voice their opinion on something they don't seem to fully understand. Cardi B, however, has defended Zaya against some of the more transphobic comments.

"A lot of people have been giving opinions about this little kid wanting to transition and everything, and I feel like a lot of people are forgetting that this is a 12-year-old kid," Cardi said on Instagram Live. "Before you say your opinions and everything, let's not forget that this is a kid. Let's not forget that this kid could be very, very sensitive."

From there, Cardi responded to those saying Zaya is too young to transition, asking how young is too young for such a decision. "If you were born thinking that you are a girl in a boy's body, how old do you have to be to keep knowing that's who you are? That's who you are, that's your identity," she continued. "If that's who you feel that you are, what is the age limit for you to know that that's what you want to be?"

She went on to explain her thoughts on transitioning early, indicating that she thinks it's better for people to live their truth earlier rather than later. "What's the point of you being older and then transitioning and being like, 'Damn, I should've been done this. I could've been found my happiness.'"

She concluded her stream of thoughts on Zaya with a simple sign of her support. "Let people find their happiness, especially kids," she said. "Let them feel comfortable doing what they want to be."
